On Thursday, May 3, Sunway held a cross-country event against Marlborough and Tenby. The run went well, but sadly the under 13s could not complete their run as it was raining heavily with thunder and lighting (kind of like this afternoon!). In any case, overall, our runners had a fabulous result, which was better than our performance at the last x-country event! Even though some of our runners felt disappointed with their results, they persevered to the end and demonstrated good sportsmanship! Go Sunway! AuthorsWritten by Jia Ling (6A) and Jaden (6A).

Today was Wacky Wednesday at SIS. Another one of our Spring into Reading events this month. And let me tell you, some of us got pretty wacky. Just ask Ms. Soltes about her Grade 6 music class today! Jokes were exchanged, socks were mismatched, and so much more! Here are some of our favourite jokes from today! 1. A woman meant to call a record shop but dialled the wrong number and got a private number instead and asked 'do you have eyes of blue' and 'a love supreme?', she asked. 'Well no,' answered the puzzled homeworker. 'But I have a wife and eleven children'. 'Is that a record?' The woman enquired. 'I don’t think so', replied the man. 'But it’s as close as I want to get!' 3. Little Johnny said to his aunt betty, ‘my god, you’re ugly, aren’t, you!’ his mother overheard this and pulled Johnny into the kitchen. ‘You naughty boy! She screamed ‘how can you say to your aunt that she’s ugly! You go right back in and apologize to her! Tell her you are sorry!’ Little Johnny entered the living room, walked over to his aunt and said, ‘Aunt Betty, I am sorry you are ugly.’ AuthorSWritten by Jia Ling (6A), Justin (5B), Jaden (6A), Jesse (4A). It was an exciting day on March 21, 2018. Sunway International School held an friendly cross country match against Tenby International School. Our runners did a great job! We were almost the top three runners for all the categories that day! The coach and runners were all proud of themselves because they started training not long ago. Keep up the great work Sunway! We also managed to get a quick interview with the the Tenby cross country coach. Media Club member: (MCm) Tenby’s X-country coach: (TXC) MCm: Were you satisfied with today’s result? TXC: Yes we are, we are very happy about the result. MCm: What was your goal for today’s friendly match?
